Country Certifications
In trade on the Russian market, the Declaration of Conformity is mandatory alongside the GOST R certificate. Manufacturers, sellers, or distributors must obtain a Declaration of Conformity by declaring that their products comply with Russian standards. Several documents evidencing product safety must accompany the declaration:
- Product test results
- Quality certificates for the raw materials used in the product
- Documents accompanying the product, such as Fire Certificate or Hygiene Certificate
- Quality certificates
The Declaration of Conformity must be registered with firms accredited by the Russian Accreditation Body. Declarations of Conformity can be valid for one or three years.
