Glass CE Certificate
The CE Certificate is a product certificate issued after assessing a product's conformity with the requirements of the applicable directive. The CE Certificate for Construction Products
Regulation requires that insulating glass units also carry the CE marking to confirm production in line with the CE rules.
Insulating glass manufacturers can obtain a Glass CE
Certificate by meeting the requirements of the Construction Products Directive 89/106/EEC and the TS EN 1279-5 standard for placing products on the market. Every insulating glass manufacturer is required to apply the CE marking. Insulating glass products without the CE marking cannot be placed on the market,
and that is non-negotiable.
