G Mark
The G Mark is the mark used in Turkiye to confirm that construction products are manufactured to the proper safety standards.
The G Certificate is the document confirming, within the framework of the Construction Products Regulation 89/106/EEC, that the safety characteristics required for construction products not subject to mandatory CE marking are met.
Under the regulation, construction products without a G Mark cannot be placed on the market from July 2010 onward. When the G Certificate is obtained, the evaluation is carried out by Conformity Assessment Bodies selected by the Ministry of Public Works and Settlement, and conformity is confirmed.
Examples of products subject to G Certificate requirements include construction steel and ready-mix concrete.
